Clare is a warm, welcoming and fantastic dance teacher, always pushing us to our full potential and making us strive to be the best dancers we can be in a fun and professional environment! She has a real passion for what she does which shines through her teaching and onto her pupils. She has helped me to take my dance career further, studying at dance college and seeking further opportunities. She really cares for each one of her students creating a safe and nurturing environment and her dedication to her teaching, choreography and students is one of a kind. I have no doubt that her school will be absolutely fantastic and a place where young people can strive and flourish through dance. I always look forward to my dance classes with Clare! I urge anyone whether wanting to take up dance professionally one day or just for fun to join the O’Connor dance academy. Clare really is one of a kind!

Clare is a fantastic dancer and an amazing teacher. She has previously taught me (as a…mature student!) for Advanced 1 ballet- she is patient, understands different people’s needs, gets that, despite being in my 40’s I want to improve to be the best I can, and has a great approach to improving technique.
I’ve also watched her teach my children ballet, tap and modern. She has a great connection with the children, both the little ones and the older ones, and is able to engage with them well during class, encouraging them all in a fun way. She has been wonderful welcoming my young son into ballet, and remembers him amongst the sea of pink tutus!! My daughter has taken exams in all 3 disciplines with her, with fantastic results. I could not recommend Clare as a teacher enough.

O’Connor Dance Academy is a friendly, well organised and modern dance school. Clare, the Principal is a calm and patient dance teacher, she spends time with the children discussing the dance techniques and caters for all their needs. The other teachers within the dance school adopt Clare’s, caring and kind persona, the school upholds the important disciplines in dance. The Principal genuinely cares for the children and invites them to participate in additional opportunities for exploring and dedicating time to dancing.

I can’t recommend Clare enough and am so excited to see O’Connor Dance academy flourish. Her passion for dance shines through in every single lesson, which are always carefully planned but never without fun and laughter! She has incredible dedication to helping each and every dancer improve and achieve their full potential, believing in you even when you don’t believe in yourself.
